Pastor Kenny and Shirley, along with son Ken, 6, and Kurt, 1, leave Calvary Temple in Kansas City, MO to take over what was then called Friendly Bible Church. It was located on Pedro Street in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, CA.The first weekend, 32 people attended service.The church was re-named Faith Temple.
One week after starting Faith Temple, Pastor Kenny went on the San Jose ABC affiliate, KNTV, and started a groundbreaking television show, Abundant Living. Pastor Foreman and the church broadcast a television program continually for over 45 years.
